The ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøAdvantage

What do we mean when we talk about the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøAdvantage?

For our learners, it means delivering a top-tier education that delivers on skills, knowledge, and job readiness. But at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøwe go further.

What sets us apart is that we offer alternative forms of experiential learning, in addition to traditional work-integrated learning. And while our programs include Canada’s nine Skills for Success, we also specialize in the development of two additional core skills: entrepreneurial/growth mindset and global citizenship and environmental awareness. We have an entrepreneurship education program and an award-winning Robertson Institute for Community Leadership. Also, we’re a Canadian leader in engaging ºÚÁϳԹÏÍølearners in our applied research projects.

For our partners, it means developing and nurturing the workers of tomorrow who will drive our economy and our province forward.

We do this by:

  •  Engaging in applied and experiential learning - ºÚÁϳԹÏÍølearners learn through hands-on and applied experiences to develop new skills, attitudes and knowledge, offering them an edge in today’s job market.
  •  Making connections - ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøis laser-focused on creating impact through relationships. Relationships that benefit our stakeholders, learners, and province. Stronger relationships mean better outcomes for learners and employers.
  •  Developing Skills for Success  - ºÚÁϳԹÏÍølearners gain more than just the skills they need for a career. ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøintegrates the following learning competencies in all our regular programs:
        - Problem solving
        - Creativity & innovation
        - Digital
        - Collaboration
        - Adaptability
        - Communication

        - Entrepreneurship, curiosity & growth mindset
        - Global citizenship & environmental awareness
  •  Pursuing Lifelong Learning - ºÚÁϳԹÏÍødelivers training and skills development that goes further. Whether through customized training, micro-credentials, multiple pathways and transfer opportunities, or the Facilitating Access to Skills Talent (FAST) program that helps skilled immigrants and New Brunswick employers succeed – ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøoffers opportunities for life-long learning.
